Affiliate Disclosure

The short version. Some links on Viagem are affiliate links. If you book through one, the airline, hotel, or partner may pay us a commission — at no extra cost to you, and never at the cost of your loyalty perks. We default every booking to the brand's own site so your family rooms, connecting seats, member rates, and loyalty points stay with you. Commission never changes which trip we grade highest for your family. We will never route you somewhere worse for a bigger commission.

1. Who we are

Viagem is a product of NLH Enterprises LLC, a Utah limited liability company doing business as "Viagem" ("Viagem," "we," "us," or "our"). This disclosure explains our affiliate relationships and is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

2. What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a partner's website. When you click one of our booking buttons and complete a qualifying booking, the partner's affiliate network records that the booking originated from Viagem and may pay us a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the partner's site directly — the commission comes out of the partner's margin, not your pocket.

3. How Viagem uses affiliate links

Affiliate commissions fund Viagem, which is free to use during early access. But how we use them is deliberately constrained by our booking philosophy:

Brand-direct by default. We send you to the airline's or hotel chain's own website whenever a direct option exists, so the perks your family pays for — family rooms, connecting seats, member rates, full loyalty points, and elite-night credit — credit to you.
OTA only as a fallback. We use an online travel agency (such as Booking.com or Expedia) only when no direct booking option is available, and we tell you when that's the case, including that loyalty points may not credit through that channel.
Commission never moves a grade. Our trip grades are based on price, travel time, kid-fit, and parent-payoff for your family. The commission we might earn is not an input to grading and never changes the order in which options are ranked.

4. It costs you nothing extra

Using our affiliate links does not increase the price of your flights, hotels, insurance, or anything else. You pay the same rate you would pay booking directly. If anything, our brand-direct routing is designed to preserve value that other tools quietly cost you by defaulting to higher-commission OTA links.

5. Programs we participate in

Viagem participates, or intends to participate, in the following affiliate programs and networks. Specific partners are added over time as approvals land; this list may not be exhaustive at any given moment.

5.1 Hotels and airlines

Through affiliate networks including Commission Junction (CJ), Awin, Impact, and Partnerize, we may earn commissions on completed stays and bookings with brands such as Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, World of Hyatt, Wyndham Rewards, and Choice Privileges, among others.

5.2 Credit cards

Where we surface a "best card for this booking" suggestion, we may earn a referral fee through networks such as Bankrate, CardRatings, or NerdWallet if you are approved for a card. Card recommendations are informational and are not financial advice; always review the card issuer's terms before applying.

5.3 Travel insurance

We may earn a commission if you purchase a travel insurance policy through a partner such as World Nomads or Allianz from a link on the Service. Coverage, eligibility, and terms are set by the insurer, not by Viagem.

6. How we label affiliate links

We aim to make our affiliate relationships clear and conspicuous. Booking and partner links throughout the Service are covered by this disclosure, and where a network requires it, individual links carry the standard affiliate-link notice. If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, you can assume that booking and partner links may be.

7. Your loyalty perks are preserved

Earning a commission and preserving your loyalty perks are not in tension for us — they're the same thing. Our affiliate model only works when you book brand-direct, which is also what keeps your points, status credit, and member benefits intact. When a booking cannot preserve those perks (an OTA fallback, for example), we disclose it in the booking card with a clear earning badge before you click.

8. Editorial independence

Viagem's recommendations, trip grades, and AI-generated itineraries are produced independently of our commercial relationships. We do not accept payment to rank a destination, hotel, or airline higher, and a partner's commission rate is never a factor in what we recommend for your family.

9. Changes to this disclosure

We may update this Affiliate Disclosure as our partner relationships evolve. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated disclosure.
